Our Story
Hub For Impact was founded in Arusha, Tanzania with a simple belief: volunteering should benefit communities first.
We saw too many volunteer programs where international organizations took the majority of fees, leaving local communities with scraps. We saw volunteers placed in programs with no real work to do. We saw ‘voluntourism’ that was more about Instagram photos than actual impact.
We decided to do it differently.
Hub For Impact is 100% locally operated. We work directly with schools, farms, women’s groups, and community organizations in and around Arusha. We know the people. We understand the needs. And we ensure that every volunteer placement creates genuine value, for the community and for you.
This isn’t about ticking a box or padding a resume. It’s about connection, growth, and making a difference that lasts long after you’ve gone home.
